In- School Youth

 

LACOE WIA services students between the ages of 17-19 that are currently enrolled in-school to obtain their high school diploma

High School Seniors

 

Are highly encouraged to enroll as many of the WIA services provided, assist participants in both graduation and post-secondary enrollment 

Disconnected Youth in need of some Reconnection 

 

Foster 

Probation  

Disabled 

Pregnant or Parenting Youth 

Are also always welcome and highly encouraged to enroll in WIA 

Summation of Services to expect once enrolled:

 

  • One-on-One Case Management

  • Individualized services focused on goal development

  • Interactive group workshops geared towards work readiness

  • Guidance and information to assist in development of an academic and career pathway

  • College preparation assistance

  • Internship/Volunteer Opportunities

  • Paid Work Experience Opportunites

Struggling  Students

Are always welcome in WIA. Students having trouble in core subjects such as english, math, or reading are provided with an array of support services to assist them in both understanding content and passing core subjects.
